Best Wedding Venues Near Missoula: Snowbowl

Cozy interior, alpine feel, delicious pizza, close to town, and tons of photo opportunities; Snowbowl has it all.

In 2025 I had the opportunity to shoot my first wedding at Snowbowl, and given how popular it is, I know it won't be the last! If you're thinking of tying the knot at Snowbowl, here are some things you should know:

  • The mountain stays open to the public, so be prepared to share your venue space with mountain bikers, hikers, and huckleberry foragers.
  • The deck allows for ample space for your guests in the summer months, but closer to fall you may be confined to the indoor space, in which case you'll want to keep the guest list small.
  • Snowbowl offers catering and their bar service, helping you worry about less about coordinating with a bunch of vendors.

Snowbowl offers the Montana mountain vibe while still being close to home. There's even room for guests and the wedding party to lodge on-site. And from a photographers perspective, there's plenty of options to create a wedding portfolio that is filled with variety. We can even take the lift to the top of the mountain to get a breathtaking view of the valley!
